This year’s Sunday of the Myrrh-Bearing Women will stay in our hearts for a long time. On this special and blessed day, our parish welcomed two honored guests — Ukrainian soldiers Ihor and Pavlo. After being seriously wounded on the battlefield, they are now in the United States for medical treatment and prosthetics. They were joined by volunteers from the Protez Foundation, an organization that supports wounded Ukrainian warriors on their road to recovery.
We had the blessing to pray the Divine Liturgy together with them. It wasn’t just a Sunday service — it was a deep moment of unity and heartfelt prayer for our defenders, for peace in Ukraine, and for the victory of truth.
We are truly grateful to Ihor and Pavlo for their strength, courage, and open hearts. We thank the volunteers for their dedication, compassion, and tireless service. And we thank everyone who came that day — those who prayed, offered kind words, gave donations, smiled, or simply stood together in love. Your presence made this day unforgettable.
May the Lord bless all our soldiers with healing and strength. And may He richly reward every person who does good for others!
