On this beautiful and holy day of Pentecost, June 8, 2025, four of our young parish children received the Holy Mystery of Confession for the first time. It was a special and joyful moment in their journey of faith and friendship with Jesus.
Deacon Fr. Oleh Zatvarskyi spent the entire year preparing the children for this important day. With love and care, he helped them learn about their faith, the importance of prayer, how to confess their sins, and how to welcome Jesus into their hearts through the Holy Eucharist.
During the Divine Liturgy, our parish community gathered in prayer to support the children. Everyone felt the presence of the Holy Spirit, filling our hearts with peace and joy.
We pray that the Lord will continue to bless these children and guide them always. May they grow strong in their faith, filled with the love of Jesus and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We also thank the parents, godparents, and everyone in the parish for their support and prayers.
