Dear Fathers,
Today we stand before you with deep respect, bowing our hearts in prayer – for your courage, quiet and noble, for the strength in your eyes even when your soul is filled with tears.
You are the ones on the front lines – in life, in faith, and in war.
You are the ones who silently put on the armor of responsibility to protect, to provide, to hold, to love.
How many times did you hide your own pain to keep your family from worrying?
How many sleepless nights did you spend praying for your children?
How many times did you walk into church and whisper, “Lord, please protect my family”?
Some of you today are praying from far away – from trenches, between explosions and memories.
And some of you are already in heaven, in the eternal home of the Father.
We remember you. We pray for you.
Today, on Father’s Day, with hearts full of gratitude, we ask:
Lord, bless our living fathers with health, peace, and faith.
And those You have already called – welcome them into Your loving embrace.
Thank you, dear dads.
We love you.
We pray for you.
We will never forget you.
With prayer,
Fr. Roman Bobesiuk
