Dear parishioners, friends, and benefactors,
Glory to Jesus Christ!
We sincerely thank God for each of you – for your support, your prayers, your service, and your loving presence in the life of our parish community.
Over sixty years ago, in 1957, Ukrainian immigrants founded our parish in San Francisco. Rooted in faith, they didn’t know what the future would hold, but they knew one thing: without God, a new life cannot be built. That’s why they built a church – not just a building, but a spiritual home and the heart of the Ukrainian community. Their work, their tears, and their prayers are in every brick of this holy place.
And now, we – the current parishioners – are called to continue their mission.
The parish hall, where we’ve gathered for many years for classes, celebrations, and events to support Ukraine, needs repair. Last year, we renovated two rooms upstairs. This year, we plan to continue and fix two more rooms that were damaged by water (the leak has already been fixed). We want to replace the damaged ceiling and walls, patch and paint, update the electrical wiring, install new lights and outlets – and do everything needed to create a warm, safe, and functional space.
The total cost of the project is $20,000. We hope to finish the work before September, so our children can return to refreshed classrooms, and the community can use the hall for events and fellowship.
We kindly ask you to support this project with your donation.
Every gift is a gesture of love, gratitude, and unity with those who laid the foundation of our parish. It’s an investment in the spiritual and cultural life of our community – in our children and in our future.
We remember our benefactors in daily prayers, and especially during the Divine Liturgy. This prayer will continue for as long as our Church exists.
May the Lord richly bless all who open their hearts to this good cause!
